A landscape studio for Campbelltown and the Macarthur region.
A design-led approach to outdoor spaces, paired with a licensed construction partner who understands what it takes to build in this part of Sydney.
A design studio paired with a licensed builder.
Two specialisations under one roof — landscape design that respects the local context, and construction that delivers it properly.
Campbelltown Landscaping is a landscape design and construction studio working with homeowners across Campbelltown and the broader Macarthur region. The work spans the full scope — landscape design, garden makeovers, retaining walls, paving, turf, pool surrounds, outdoor entertainment areas, and planting — delivered as a complete package or as individual scopes.
The studio is paired with a licensed NSW landscaping contractor partner who carries out the construction side of every project. The design work is ours; the structural and hardscape construction is delivered through that partner under their full trade licence and insurance. This separation matters: design and construction need different skills, and pretending one person does both well usually means neither is done as well as it could be.
Most of the projects we take on are residential transformations — tired suburban backyards, new-build handovers from project home builders, sloped blocks that have never been usable, and dated 80s/90s yards that have aged out. The technical realities of working in this part of Sydney — Cumberland Plain clay, hot summers, frosty winters, council-by-council variation across the Campbelltown and Camden LGAs — shape every decision we make.
What that looks like in practice: a client gets a free on-site consultation with someone who's familiar with their suburb's typical conditions, common building patterns, and council requirements. They get a design proposal that addresses their property specifically rather than a templated scope dropped in from another job. They get a fixed-price quote that itemises what's included so the construction phase doesn't run wild on variations. And they get a build delivered by a contractor team that does this work locally, every week, with suppliers and subcontractors who've been part of the same Macarthur landscape network for years.
The reason this matters: the alternative model — a contractor parachuting in from the inner Sydney suburbs for a single job, pricing the work against generalised assumptions, and disappearing after handover — is genuinely common in this region and is responsible for most of the failed landscapes we replace. Local knowledge isn't a marketing line. It's the practical difference between work that lasts and work that doesn't.
Built across the Macarthur region.
A snapshot of the work to date — experience translated into local knowledge.
What we actually believe about landscaping.
The principles that shape every project — from the first site visit through to final handover.
Structure first
Levels, drainage and edges are decided before any finish material is chosen. The work that's hidden determines how long the work that's visible lasts.
Fixed-price quotes
Itemised inclusions after a proper site visit. No vague square-metre rates, no scope creep, no surprises in the final invoice.
Local context
Cumberland Plain clay, Campbelltown climate, council-by-council requirements. The reality of building here is built into every quote.
Licensed work
Structural landscaping performed by a licensed NSW contractor partner. Licence and insurance details with every formal quote.
Honest about scope
If a project doesn't suit a full design package, we'll say so. If a smaller scope makes more sense, we'll quote that instead.
Workmanship warranty
5-year warranty on structural landscaping through our contractor partner. In writing, with every job.
How we work, start to finish.
A clear sequence from initial enquiry through to handover — no ambiguity about what happens when.
Consultation
A free on-site visit to understand the property, your goals and your budget. We walk the space together and discuss what's realistic.
Design
Concept plan with layout, hardscape materials, planting recommendations and zone-by-zone proposals. You see the project before any ground is broken.
Fixed-price quote
Itemised inclusions, agreed scope, fixed price. The number you accept is the number you pay.
Build
Structural work first, then hardscape, then soft landscaping. Sequenced so each layer supports the one above it.
Handover
Walk-through of the finished work, aftercare guidance for new plantings and turf, and the 5-year workmanship warranty in writing.
Licensed, insured, accountable.
The compliance side of the work isn't optional — and it's the easiest thing to verify before you commit to a contractor.
